How to get our parents to Europe has been on our minds for years; we thought that it would be a travesty if they never saw Paris. When we began thinking about spending this year in Europe, one of the items at the “pros” list was the probability that we could get them to come over for a visit. Our ploy worked.
In April we played tour guides to Meghan’s parents, and in September we had the fun of dragging my parents around the Netherlands, Germany (Cologne), Belgium, and France. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll post summaries of that visit.
